Please feel free to phone, fax or email any questions you may have regarding availability, package deals, etc. As we are not full time innkeepers our policies and procedures are quite informal as is our atmosphere!  It is our hope when you stay at "The Trace", that you'll leave feeling as though you've just spent your holiday in the comfort and care of a close friend or favorite family member.

We trust the following policies regarding deposits and cancellations is agreeable to all.

From Salt Lake City drive East (toward Cheyenne) on Interstate 80.  You'll  pass Park Citys' Kimball Junction and continue on approx. 12 miles to the Wanship/Rockport Reservoir exit. After exiting turn left under the Interstate and proceed through town until you reach the "World Famous" Spring Chicken Inn on the North side of town (don't blink). Now turn right at the Spring Chicken and head straight East on Old Lincoln Hwy. which takes you back under I-80.  About 1/4 of a mile after the overpass the road takes a sharp left turn up a slight grade. At the top of this grade (approx. 100 yds.) you'll see a collection of weathered barns on the right side of the road and on the left a modern home surrounded by a white wooden fence. The entrance will be marked with a sign saying  "Cherry Canyon" and you'll see a rustic wooden fence on both sides along with the barns and  stables. Just ahead, as the fence ends, you'll see Richins Ranch Rd. on the left. Turn here and follow the road all the way to the end/top.

We offer a 10% discount on stays of 4 or more nights.

All room rates include  Full Breakfast, tax not included.

Rates are single/double occupancy.

We regret that we must discourage pets and children under the age of 12 (although exceptions may be made under certain circumstances). 

Smoking is allowed outdoors only, provided the proper courtesy is shown to our non-smoking guests.
